Unless money is an issue, as it is for a lot of us. I'd rather not buy a pair of shoes for $100 when I could just as easily sacrifice a little grip for a significantly cheaper pair of shoes.
I'll just work on my technique not to depend on my shoe...

Actually, that would be awesome. That was my mine gripe with FiveTen - I couldn't try on a pair anywhere because they pretty much only sell them online. Let me know when you'll be in the city, jam or no jam (but preferably jam), and I'll meet up with you.
Sweet. I was thinking the Savants would be best for me. I'm run in a size 13, but I was thinking of going with size 12 to ensure a nice snug fit for good control. Unless FiveTens are already on the small side? I'm not sure.
