Yeah, the area around the olympic stadium is pretty nice. Just don't park there - a lot of car break ins (park at the botanical gardens across the street)...

Montreal Has Some Bad-ass PK spots

Ok I am in Montreal, Canada right now and I wanted to make it known... no matter what anyone says Montreal's olympic stadium is surounded by the best hotspot parkour has ever seen... I was in the place for 45 minutes and could see and run more routes then I have ever seen anywhere else I have ever gone. I am talking overwhelming PK vision that spans the size of several football fields... IT WAS EPIC. Honestly I have never seen a video or a single place live that was even close to matching the pa… Continue

B13 Ultimatum

yep the long awaited sequel... it sucks... sorry guys its true... Just finished it and it was quite disappointing alot of the parkour (most of the impressive parkour) is faked/ special effects/wire work...not good at all, quite disappointing. I am kinda surprised Monsure Bell allowed such a thing to happen.... I will say more later when I get off the phone.

edit: As I said the parkour was quite disappointing, especially as a follow up to its prequel…. This movie includes more than a few ignor… Continue

just my luck... wrist injuries...yes plural

well by some stroke of bad luck, bad anatomy and over use. I have partialy torn my ulnar colatoral ligament in BOTH of my wrists at the same time doing parkour and ninjutsu... so all my jam RSVPs just went to maybe. I will still be at the New Haven one cause I live here and will be providing sleeping space, but I will be jamming at a much slower pace and might just do alot of video or things that dont require wrist flextion... we will see, it sucks and I will have to wear braces on both my wrist… Continue

Tricking

So I have decided its time for me to start learning some tricking...and purhaps later some free running of course. Why? no reason, just feel like it... been doing parkour for 12 years and its time for something a little new to add to it... and I am in the best shape of my life so it seems like a good time to start. I have a specific set of techniques I actually want to learn, not going too crazy yet. So I am starting with an aerial, after one hour today of training I think I could have it by the… Continue

I've emailed him myself, I don't really know what he's doing. He told me october 7th was the first class, and I told him Josh had moved away. He hasn't responded, I'm starting to get a little annoyed at the lack of communication myself, if I find out anything I'll let you know. I actually already told him about you, and suggested you. If I don't get an email by october 1st, I'll call, and then visit the YMCA to see what's going on.

Hey, I kinda figured it was you...and it's kinda funny...since I heard about Parkour a while ago I've thought it was cool and wanted to do it, but never really got a chance to, and then after hanging out with you it came back to the front of my mind along with martial arts, which had been on hiatus for months because of school, work, and other obligations. My problem was that I didn't really have any way to learn, not knowing anyone who did Parkour and not really knowing where to start, but I did some searching and by joining this site I was hoping to find someone a little closer to where I live who could teach me. I'm still S.O.L. on that front, but I've started conditioning my body so that I can take the physical exertion once I get an opportunity to actually learn the moves.

So the short answer is, "I don't, which is why you didn't know. I'm new to the site, which is why you didn't know I was on it. But I'm hoping to learn."
