This is pretty hilarious to watch, they're almost all Martial Artists, but the course requires knowledge of Parkour, the fact that they Hurtle every low log and can't even wall-run makes me wonder how hard it actually is to get on this show >.>, Japanese one looks more difficult and fun if you ask me. Anyone else feel this show looks a little to easy?
The video you had linked was from a couple years ago... #1 of the 3 head to head challenges. The other 2 winners were traceurs Levi Meeuwenberg from MI and Brian Orosco from SFPK/ Team Tempest. There was an elimination, and Ruselis Perry lost - the other 2 went to Japan. Levi did very well his first time...
After the challenge, Ruselis was on APK for a while. I know he tried parkour, but not sure if he stuck with it.
Cliffhanger obstacle = not too hard to build one for yourself. Ozzi and one of his friends did it.
Makoto Nagano = trains like crazy on his boat, and even then stage 1 sometimes gets him.
It sure would be fun to play on the Sasuke set...
Indeed, that video is old. G4 has sent numerous "ninjas" to Japan since then.
Brian Orosco is awesome, just by the way. Sure he hasn't gotten as far as Levi, but I don't think that matters as much as your attitude. I just can't stand how Levi acts about himself; yes, he's good at parkour and whatnot, but that doesn't make him so pro. He's not even in the same league with Nagano and Takeda.
Interesting bit about Ruselis. He seemed like a cool guy, but I don't know if he's fit for Sasuke.
Cliffhanger building!? Props to anyone who builds any Sasuke obstacle by themselves. That's impressive. I've yet to find a good place to practice (legitimately) the Cliff Hanger, but there are simple things on buildings and whatnot where you can practice a handful of the other obstacles displayed on Sasuke. Of course, when you actually get to Japan (if you make it on Sasuke), you won't know what to expect at all because the course is constantly changing for the most part.
